Fairman Family Foundation first to support LaunchBox initiative

With a $25,000 gift, the Fairman Family Foundation Endowment for the North Central PA LaunchBox Powered by Penn State DuBois has been established. This makes the Fairman Family Foundation the inaugural donor to support this initiative, with other donors in line to make similar commitments. Funding from the endowment will be used to support the North Central PA LaunchBox and Innovation Collaborative, programming and activities. Brad Lashinsky to lead DuBois innovation hub

Brad Lashinsky has been appointed as the program director for the entrepreneurship and innovation hub at Penn State DuBois, part of the Invent Penn State initiative. Lashinsky's appointment is effective Jan. 1, 2019. He also will serve as a lecturer in business at the DuBois campus. Invent Penn State was launched in 2015, with the University awarding seed grants to help fund the establishment of innovation hubs and entrepreneurship centers in communities statewide.
