NCPA LaunchBox, Clearfield County invite CARES Grant applications by Nov. 15

The North Central PA LaunchBox Powered by Penn State DuBois will help to administer a second round of funding for small businesses adversely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Clearfield County commissioners recently announced a second round of grant funding aimed at helping the local economy recover from losses suffered during the COVID outbreak through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. The LaunchBox will work specifically with small businesses to process their applications and determine their losses. Penn State alumnus offers talk on securing government contracts for business

The North Central PA LaunchBox and the Partnership for Regional Economic Performance (PREP) will host a webinar at 11 a.m. on Nov. 19  to explain the benefits that contracting with the federal government can bring to area business. The process of initiating and securing these relationships with government agencies will also be discussed. This program will be offered by Timothy P. Webinar planned to help holiday shoppers, business owners navigate pandemic

DuBOIS, Pa. — Holiday shopping will look different this year during the COVID-19 pandemic. To help shoppers and business owners navigate this uncharted climate, Penn State DuBois Continuing and Community Education and the North Central PA LaunchBox will co-host a webinar titled “Holiday Shopping During COVID: What Should Main Streets Expect?” from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 18, via Zoom.
