Penn State Startup Week powered by PNC presented a diverse array of events across Penn State campuses, spotlighting student innovation and entrepreneurship from March 18 to March 22. The events were centered around themes of student entrepreneurs, funding your venture, social impact and technology. 

Penn State Brandywine LaunchBox held its Spring 2024 Idea TestLab Pitch Competition on March 19. Four startup entrepreneurs participated in the competition, which was held on campus in the Tomezsko Classroom Building.

Student startup Saveware won $15,000, the largest prize amount, in the 2024 Invent Penn State Inc.U Competition. Kicking off Penn State Startup Week powered by PNC, six Penn State student teams pitched their startup to a panel of judges and competed for up to $30,000 in funding. 

With the help of the Hazleton LaunchBox supported by Pasco L. Schiavo, Esq., Immanuel Christian School students launched a food startup that will fund future scholarships at the school for children in need.
